Broad Meadow Brook Conservation Center & Wildlife Sanctuary
Love is in the air! In the gentle dusk of early spring, American woodcocks perform a spectacular aerial mating display. We will gather indoors to learn a bit about this peculiar member of the sandpiper family, then drive to the trailhead and walk a short distance from the trailhead to witness 'peenting', spiral flights, and flybys of courting males. There will be an easy walk along level trails at dusk.
