The Theatre Cafe has been known for serving gourmet meals to performance attendees and local visitors for 11 years. Housed in a cozy, intimate setting, and operated by two of Worcester's finest chefs, the cafe serves as the perfect setting for a delightful evening.
When owners Bill and Jeanette opened 11 years ago, the city was much different than we see now. This past decade has transformed the city into a clean, safe, pedestrian-friendly place they're proud to serve. In this time, Bill and Jeanette's “Theatre Cafe” has made a name for itself and they'll be opening a new restaurant, “Center Stage Bistro,” on Main Street across from The Hanover Theatre in the upcoming year. Center Stage Bistro will bring the city yet another fine-dining establishment.
The chefs at the Theatre Cafe are experienced in all types of cuisine and are focused on seeking the best, freshest local ingredients. A few of the Theatre Cafe's most popular dishes are the seared fresh sea scallops, the grilled salmon dinner, and their steak and cheese sandwich. They also offer an exclusive Date Night menu which allows parties of up to 12 people to reserve the Cafe for private dining service. This five-course meal includes a chef's amuse-bouche, soup, salad, main course, and dessert.
