The Worcester Center for Crafts is an experience, a place and a passion. Its Campus at 25 Sagamore Road and Glass Studio at 35B New Street are the places where you can experience the thrill of learning craft. In its fully equipped studios, students and artists practice ceramics, glassblowing, flameworking, jewelry-making, forging, bladesmithing and blacksmithing, enameling, and both digital and darkroom photography. The Worcester Center for Crafts is a community of creatives and makers all with a passion for creativity.
In addition, the Craft Center’s Krikorian Gallery displays creative work from across the region. The Center’s Gallery Store features the work of over 200 American artists for purchase. We have a passion for sustaining crafts and creativity. The Krikorian Gallery and the Gallery Store are open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10-5 with special holiday hours in December.
Adult classes and youth classes are offered in many media including ceramics, glass, metals and photography through multi-week sessions and short workshops that occur September through July.
Hands-on discovery of making, collecting, and appreciating is celebrated in our special events like the Holiday Festival of Crafts (Fri, Sat, and Sun after Thanksgiving), the Spring Pottery Invitational, and July’s Hot Night in the City, all open to the public.
Come make, come buy, come appreciate: the Worcester Center for Crafts.
