If you have a child aged birth to five years, Pakachoag Music School invites you to sample a free Music Together Online class during the coming month, through June 13th. For children ages birth to five, these classes are not passive screen time but interactive, with you or your child's caregiver serving as the role model for all things music.
Like all our classes, Music Together Online is designed to teach the way young children learn: through play. During each online class, a Pakachoag early childhood specialist will lead music activities for the whole family to sing, play, and jam along to. We'll show you how to make everyday items like dish towels, pots, and stuffies into musical props. Even though your teacher is on the screen, each class has been designed as an active music-making experience for little ones and their grownups.
"I cannot thank you enough for pulling together such an impressive and inspiring online curriculum. We've been skeptical of distance-learning activities for our daughter, as she's 2.5 years old and doesn't really grasp the concept yet, and she has not enjoyed some of the other online classes for her age group. However, last Sunday was our first Music Together class (via Zoom), and we loved it! Thank you again for what your community has done for our families during this unpredictable and unprecedented time." From a Music Together mom.
Please book at least 3 days ahead by emailing email@example.com so we have time to get you set up for your visit. Up to two visits possible, first-come / first-served. We can only one family visitor for each class - so we encourage booking sooner, not later. OR, If you have a group of 5 to 8 family friends, we may be able to arrange a special demo for you and your friends (with one week's notice). We're doing this because we want parents of very young children to know that learning online can be productive and fun; all children are musical; and 0 to 5 years are the critical developmental years to capture and nurture every child's natural music ability.
